100W Portable kit on ebay

Yea, I saw that one on Amazon as well and I do like the price point on it for sure. I will have my home built camp trailer that will house my battery and inverter which the panel will be used for so I could probably get away with a full size panel but I just keep going back to thinking the folding more portable ones are the way to go for this type of setup. Plus if I need or want to chase the sun it seems doing it with the folding panels would maybe be simplier.

Could one simply connect this to their starter battery to negate the drain of a fridge. Basically not use a second/house battery?

That's what I do with my setup. 120 watt panel on a diehard platinum 34 series

Awesome. I am not sure what I want to do for additional stored power but do want to supplement whatever my final solution is with some solar so this might be a good direction to head to keep my fridge running and rig starting. Thank you!

Yeah not a problem. I have ran my for three days on that set up with my fridge on about 38 in 85degree ambient temp. Then at night running led lights that are in my shell. Don't really drop below 11.9 the whole time.

In case you were wondering if you had room, the dimensions are 47x21.3 for the non folding 100w panel

Anyone know if these are decent kits? There are so many options now, it's hard to know the quality of what is available.
I have the non briefcase (2) 100 watt panel kit and it all seems very well constructed. Customer service has been good, too, when I had to call about a missing adapter in my kit.

I will be trying them out for the first time when I pick up my trailer (not trail rated) this weekend. Folks in the Little Guy trailer community seem quite pleased with these kits.

That's great thanks!
Would love to hear how the first trip out goes.
I also would be interested in a roof mounted option with the 2 100 watt panels.

Renogy mentioned something about a Father's day sale on their Facebook page. I haven't seen anymore information about it though so maybe be on the lookout for that sale this weekend. I did go ahead and pick up the non-folding 100 watt panel, for the pricing I figured it to be a good buy and since I plan to use my little trailer when camping now I shouldn't have an issue dragging it along. I would still like to pick-up the suitcase at some point when funds allow though. Now to find a decent enough deal on a battery or golf cart batteries.

Yo Jenn or anyone else with experience with a JK and these panels,
Have you tried to fit the 100w panel in a JK? I measured mine and it looks like one might fit behind the rear seats and stow well snuggled up against them and the headrest. The non folding version is about $100 cheaper which is almost enough for an extra panel sooo....

Thanks

I have not checked, but certainly can try tomorrow, if this rain ever stops (oh, the joys of living in Western PA.)
