Here's the connection at the bumper, with the cover to avoid dirt.

At the battery end, although it may be tough to figure out but it's the smaller black and red wire coming out of the split loom in the center of frame and going to the aux battery terminals:

And then the solar panel wiring end, I used posi-locks for the connection and then shrink wrapped them:

Not very fancy but it works!

No looks like it works. Notice any voltage drop? Everyone else just running alligator clips for theirs or...?

I'm curious those using these panels, would you recommend the 100w or 120w for keeping a battery topped off? I'd like something that will keep me parked for a couple of days running a fridge, maybe some lights at night (all LED), perhaps a 12v fan every now and again when it gets hot. I can't decide between the two units…I'm cheap and I'd like to purchase the 100w if that will get me by.

Heidi, 100 watts is sufficient.
I run just a 60 watt Powerfilm as seen in my link above.
It is just for the main battery on the FJ, and that is to keep it topped off as it runs the fridge and tent light.

The 100 watt one I picked up awhile back is strictly for my new ArkPak I picked up.
It is for running multiple Goal Zero LED lanterns, and for charging up any device that may need it.

Thanks Corey thats what I figured. I was trying to think back to what we were running on the FJ and I think it was just two 80 watt power films and those seemed to do the trick. I also have a Goal Zero Escape that I'm carrying around as a back up for any accessories I want to run like my laptop.

Yeah, 100 watts would seem fine to me.
Seems like this is a good option that would plug and play with the foldable solarblvd panels
That looks like the same plug I have on my FJs grille that goes to the charge controller, then to my main battery.

Ordering my 100 watt on Friday. Pretty excited as this is my first time ever messing with solar power.

Got paid a day early. Sold $135 worth of stuff this past week so basically $48 after shipping out of pocket. Looking forward to it. Zamp Solar SAE plug also on the way.
