Ed Just lost a big post replying to the 13” tyre delema. Doh, Doh Basically I was suggesting you try www.rhinobuggies.com.au and see what they say about fitment of 12” rims and ATV type tyres (with suitable load ratings of course). They got out of Subaru hunting / beach buggies a few years back and now only do Hummer replicas on Nissan chassis but they may offer good advice . There is one of their old Subaru “Hummer” buggies, road registered near where I live. Very cool. Looks like a mini early US Army H1, camo paint, 4 seats and no doors.
You can appreciate that the tyre selection in the 12” range is huge. There are virtually no offroad 13”s here and only a very limited 14” range by comparison. Maybe the 12”s would be a good thing to slip on at the weekend and hit the trails with.
