Where I'd mount it is on my current `rack' and that is about 51-52" wide, but still leaves me like 8" I guess. Mike, on the OLC3, where are the tent openings?

The OverLand OLC/03 is 71"W X 87"L X 49"H. The doors are on the 71" side, and there are adjustable end vents with guttering. Here is an OLC/03 on an Adventure trailer...

I have the 1600 and I really don't think you'd want two kids and two adults in there. It'd be very tight and uncomfortable in there. You could get away with it for a while if your kids are young and small but like Mike S. said, they grow fast.

dont forget the younger they are the more they squirm and flip and flop and wiggle and play too.

PSKHAAT,

You may consider that with a tent, gas cans, and a tire, you will be very top heavy.

I don't know what you drive, but can you put some of that stuff somewhere else?

I use a Hannibal 1.4m on the roof, and a Hannibal 2.4m awning with sides as a second bedroom (2.4m x 1.7m). Two adults on top, three on cots under the awning. One cot converts to a table giving me a table and bench seating for 6 in about 3 minutes.

* Disclaimer - I am the Canadian importer for Hannibal and have an obvious bias ;)

VERY! No, up-to-now the secondary spare rode atop, but with the tent there'd be no way, and I may need to simply learn how to repair tires (not that knock-on-wood I've had yet to deal with that).

Just an FYI, but the Eezi Awn tents have upgraded to a series three and will include an 1800 model which is 96" x 72"

The upgrade includes some minor changes, including larger windows and bigger interior pockets. Cool stuff!
