Was thinking the same thing. It's a bit of a puzzle to me how many diesel conversions are put up for sale not long after they're completed - can't tell if the owners didn't realize the trade-offs, didn't use an appropriate engine for the power band they wanted to end up with, or didn't do/get a good job on the actual conversion.
close, but not quite...the SD33 (non turbo Nissan) was available for a '76-'79 (and was a slug) and the last year, 1980, the diesel was a SD33T (you guessed it, the same Nissan motor, just turbo charged and less of a slug and could be tuned for a bit more).
Last year I missed buying one in NorCal for 2k from the original owner. had over 280k miles on it and he was selling it because he just got a new pickup.
