Ping me if you buy it. There are always ex-MOD rigs in the auction here with decent frames, LHD and thrashed bodies.

It's the google of hours needed for a frame swap. And once you get it apart you can always find stuff that you should fix while it is apart.

New galvanized frames are around $3K plus shipping from back east.

Still a good deal if the bids don't go up too much.

I almost got a Series 3 here a few months ago that needed a frame, but was otherwise perfect. Couldn't get his price down far enough to justify it, then he sold it to someone who didn't know Landrovers for his asking price.
