If the welds aren't leaking, no reason to even touch them. Not a spot weld, it's a rosette weld. No need to fill it up.

In a weird twist of fate I might be in the Kalamazoo-Detroit area the week of the Woodward dream cruise. Would anyone have any advice of how to get to Detroit from Kalamazoo, where to stay, where to go, where not to go,etc. Not sure if its going to happen or if work would allow me to stay a couple extra days but sure want to try.

Parts arrival! Appears Carlson brake hardware kit H2323 covers both wheels, so I have an extra. image.jpg
Need a new cover. This one has been dented and there is marking on the inside:

There is some pitting on the bearing seats. I'll hit it with some emery before assembly but it won't be perfect:

Cluster is ready to go. I'll use the speedometer that is in the truck. It's easier to undo the wiring harness with it out.

The cluster in the background is kinda neat. It has an electric speedo and a trip Odometer.

Tach troubleshooting 101:
image.jpg
Leave those 4 little nuts on tach
image.jpg
Install plastic mount
image.jpg
Grab 4 nuts from tray and install those to hold plastic mount

Tach works now.
4x4 light and E-brake light are not working.
