Selling my Doka. Only reason being I need a tow rig for the crawler I'm building. Awesome truck that I really don't want to sell, but I have too many toys in the stable. Anway, here goes...

1989 VW Syncro Doka w/ a Subaru 2.2l conversion. Motor has 32k on it since install/rebuild, chassis has about 132k on it. Kennedy Engineering Products adapter used for motor swap. Rust free undercarriage. Solid shaft decoupler for the 4wd system. Rear Locker. Terrapodz lights up front. LT Mirrors. Headlight Relay Kit. Walkthrough cab (no divider). New shifter linkage bushings front to rear, new speedo cable, new heater control plate and knobs, new front CV's, ball joints, wheel bearings, tie rod ends, and brakes. Short Shift Kit. Diamond plate aluminum in bed. Small dent/ding on the rear passenger side wheel well. Small dent/chipped paint on pan/spoiler behind rear bumper. Clean title in hand. Serious CASH offers only, and I am open to offers - worst I can say is no. For the full price of 21k, I'll throw in a fresh built subie 2.5l short block. You can put the 2.2 heads and intake on the 2.5 block and get about 170-180hp out of it - aka a Frankenmotor. Local/Semi-local sale preferred.

Saw one of these in a tan color at Overland Expo EAST 2014. Be still my heart. Great looking truck. Good luck with the sale.

Nice - especially the walk through - guess for some reason I never thought about that - were some / most made up with a divider? Seems like that was what I saw somewhere....

I'll trade you my Airstream B190 for it, you can certainly tow your Crawler with it and have a place to sleep to boot. :sombrero:

unless the compressor is down low. all i see is a single belt and an alternator.

Sorry I've been out of the loop...thought I had notifications turned on, apparently, I don't.

It does not have AC - nor power steering.
