Hey Everyone! I'm a new poster, been a lurker for awhile. I'm from Long Island N.Y. Originally I wanted to buy an ambulance because I'm an EMT and my wife is a medic, but we got this van instead.
It's a 1990 e-350 2WD I got from an old man. It really only has 60k on it! It's a V8 Diesel and has 2 tanks. Right now one of the tanks fuel gauges does not work. Also the tanks are pretty small. I think there somewhere around 14 gal each.
So my plan is to make the inside where i can hold mine and my wife's Honda Ruckii with a bed on top of them. Not looking to put in a bathroom just a bed, seat table area, mini fridge and toaster oven. I would love to put a permanent raised roof on it but i have to find one first.
These... are the Ruckii
SO I've been keeping my eye on "the polar bear" build thread getting some good ideas. This guy is awesome http://www.flickr.com/photos/zaskoda/sets/72157622595417905/
This is a rough design of what I want to do with the van. In the back will be a bed that is over the scooters. A closet, and little seating area.
you can see where the scooters go under the bed
That's about it for now! updates to follow!
