used to have early ones in the fleet. those interiors are absolute garbage. id go to a yard and get a late model interior for the cab.

appears to need a diff drop, which overall doesnt look insurmountable to fab up.

Yeah, I noticed the same thing - angles appear to be to much. But overall it looks like a superb rig

well, well. I should have recognized it, but yeah, it does appear to be the Colorado rig, cleaned up and painted.. Looking good, curious to see what it goes for.

Others will certainly have a better idea than I do on whether or not that is a fair price.

Well, it's the most I've seen one go for in the last three years or so I've been watching, especially one of the gen 1 astros. OTOH an '89 with the same features, save the bathroom, went for 7k up in Northern CA a few weeks ago also with new paint. That was a fixed price sale though.

I'd say it was a great price for the seller!

My goodness! It was a nice enough truck, but that price should bring joy to every Tiger pop-up owner's heart.

Still, the cliche about land applies here, too--they're not making any more of it/them. If that's what it sold for, that's what it's worth, and if it turns out to be what the buyer needed and wanted, then it was well bought. The seller was smart to put it on eBay, and fortunate to find multiple people for whom it was the right truck. There's only a handful of these with solid 4WD conversions, so it's not like someone who wanted one could just shop among them for the best price.

So, yeah, the price was fair. But after years of Astro Tiger-watching, it seems to me that the sale will raise price expectations for the future.
