Here's a picture showing how the insulation lays under the PVC. One section of PVC shown here; the seams are taped and staggered between PVC and foam-

Poor quality picture trying to show the floor fitment. I'm thinking I will use expanding foam in all the small gaps around the edges, which will then be covered by the wall paneling and cabinetry-

All pieces in place with taped seams-

Rubber floor glued down-

Started fitting T&G pine boards to the side. My plan is to seal all sides of the pine with polyacrylic and place a vapor barrier behind it.

Popping back in for a long overdue update. Been too busy riding my 2-wheeled adventure machines. Finished up the panels with threaded inserts on the rear doors. This isn't actually a finished picture (a bolt and the inserts not in the upper panel yet) but you get the idea-

Had some fun in the snow-

Finished up the transition to the rear doors with some PVC board-

Removed some paneling from inside the hightop to reveal some storage space-

Covered the fiberglass with ensolite-

Covered that in the same fabric that I used for the front and rear overhead storage-

You can see the overhead storage here, which is just a big canvas 'bag' I sewed up and attached to the paneling with big DiBond trim rings front and rear. Simple bungie cords hold large, lightweight items in place. I will make a similar 'faceplate/trim ring' for the long side storage areas. The storage is flanked by vents with integrated switch for my solar exhaust fans that extract air from the overhead cavities for moisture management-

Machined some inserts for the floor and installed some airpolane seats. Four thumb screws are used to quickly install or remove the seats. 3/8" bolts threaded 1" into 6061... is it safe? I dunno, but I tell anyone who rides back there that it's definitely not safe, and to think of it as riding in the bed of a pickup (legal round here). If you dont feel safe with that, dont get in the van. Anyway, they recline, have adjustable headrests, front and rear folding trays, and the cushions can be used for flotation :)

Stripped and cleaned the cab floor before rust-proofing and spraying Raptor Liner bed liner. Very easy to do and turned out great. It's already a bit dirty in the picture as I was working on a new heater core as well, but the finish is actually very consistent. Exterior picture shows how I will carry the bedliner to the outside and around the rockers and bumpers. I sprayed the side entry step areas as well and will do the lower parts of the doors tie them in.

That's it for now! Hopefully I check back in less than 10 months this time...

This thing is awesome, nice work. I bet airplane seats are comfortable when there isn't a row 12" ahead and 12" behind you.
