You didn't have the springs made to eliminate rear block? My 98.4 24v had terrible axle wrap with the long blocks.
With stock ride height springs I plan on doing the shackle flip when I do the SAS. Shackle flip gains you 4 inches of lift in the rear and helps the axle wrap issue. I may put a smaller block in the rear when i do this and get rid of the 4 inch block. The ORD sas kit gives your front end a 4 inch lift with stock springs. I'm planning long term for my tuck now instead of just jumping at parts.

OBS Tahoe's are great rigs to take on trails- Rock crawling with Jeeps no, but if you like dirt backroads, Death Valley exploring, Baja trails a IFS with 33's and upgraded shocks, upgraded lockers and driving off road like your NOT running the Baja 1000, it will take you where you wanna go...and doing it with a 5.7!

Look up auto edits on you tube he has a Tahoe on 35s with minimal lift and puts upgrades in the right places to make it a great all around rig
