1995 Defender

So my boss has a 1995 Defender 90 that he is looking at getting rid of.

Apparently it's in perfect condition, and he sold off a lot of the extras, and it's got 65k on the odo.

So he told me he wants $35k for it. For the prices I've seen, this looks pretty good.

What do you all think?

$35k seems pretty high no matter what he has on it as extras. He will be competing against other sellers who are willing to let theirs go in the mid to low $20's and in some cases the high teens.

Man, why was I thinking this must be a deal? I was only looking at these a while back, but I must have been looking at 110's? Are 110's more expensive?

So no, this isn't really a great deal to someone who has the ability to work on a used one themself?

Thanks for the intel guys, would have totally sucked to pay one price only to find out I could have had two for the same price. :REOutShootinghunter

110's are Expensive, and rare here, so are 90's really.

35K isn't out of line for a perfect 90 Station wagon with low miles like the Bosses truck, and someone will buy it.
I do happen to think that if you are going to own and actually use a Rover you are better off buying something a little less "collectable" and build it up to what you want (you seem to have the Skilz)
Owning a Rover you will have enough of those "special" moments that you'll probably want to know the thing inside and out, at least the concept of how it was put together. Rebuilding and building will allow you that priviledge.:sombrero:
