You mentioned your rear setup w/ 5100's earlier. Can you elaborate on your lift as I am looking to do something similar? I have the 5100's (not yet installed), but I haven't quite sorted out the rear as I have the rear air suspension.

I looked into the OME 862's or LC 100 springs but since I have the air ride I'm not sure I can retro to springs wo a lot of headache.

I was thinking about 285/70/17's on stock rims (same as yours) with spacers. I thought I'd have to mount the 5100's all the way up to fit, but I don't want a baja look.

Any advice?

Sorry I have been travelling and have not logged in for a while...

the 5100's will not change the look of your Sequoia, in fact, the front 5100's will only level it on the 2nd notch. if you elect to raise it more, you can adjust the load/height sensor on the rear axle to lift the rear about 1.5" for a slightly lifted look.

they really shined while driving on the beach @40-50mph. It did bottom out a few times, but I have upgraded my bump stops also to help with that....

What part number 5100's did you use? everything I see specifically states, "not for vehicles equiped with rear air suspension"

I used the 4th Gen 4runner Bilstein 5100 part number for the rear combined with the factory washer/bushing combo. it is a little under dampened, but this is trial and error....maybe a 200 series would work also? no major complaints after another hard 20k miles on them. I think the front 5100's are done...might replace them soon.

Warn VR 10-S Installed. I had a U Shaped 3/8" steel bent for strength and welded bumper support mount brackets to it.

The only issues I ran into was relocating the powersteering cooling tube and moving the trans cooler hoses a bit. I also added two more bolts on each side of the bumper support....still might need a bit more reenforcement.

This install is not for the feint at heart and requires losing your Bumper support.
Future Plans are to fabricate a new skid plate that will bolt to the underside of my winch mount.

Very impressive, I would love to do something very similar. Do you have a detailed writeup posted anywhere with a step by step of your methods/parts used?

Great look rig BTW!
