Love the look. The issue I see is its pretty jacked up....is there any down travel in the suspension?

That was my main concern even before i installed the spacers...I did the front first for that main reason, to check the down travel and see how it will perform and I was surprised it rode very well, it will not be the same when it was factory set but it works very well no BS. Hopefully this helps to others who would like to do the same. I promise you it handle and work very well.

Russian made 50mm front strut spacers for Gen 3, ordered these but never had the chance to try and install em. If anyone is intrested with these i will sell em for cheap.

So for anyone with experience (claysnfeathers, kdj) using a spacer on the front of a Gen 3 montero, both spacers shown by claysnfeaters only have 3 bolts/ holes, so my question is, is that mandatory for the strut to match up properly when mounted or just for the convenience of the maker since 3 holes is easier than 6. The ones shown indicate by design that the existing strut bolts would be replaced by the ones in the kit, which would simplify things. It would also eliminate the need to countersink the bolt heads on the spacer.

Took the shorter route of lifting the front end of my car using the spacers with pre-installed bolts, I am not really comfortable taking the front strut assembly apart afraid of getting hurt. The other kit on the other hand is more simple and solid.

Those look like you would replace existing studs with new. The one I made used standard studs to attach spacer to strut and had new studs to attach to chassis.

Ok, that's what I was wondering, whether or not the offset of the mounting bolts on the top of the strut is a problem.
