New ones. I think I'll just have the one set. I'm not a big fan of changing out tires for wheeling. Especially since most of my wheeling happens after lots of highway driving. Who knows, maybe.

Hey Tim, hows that tent working out for you two after another weekend camping in it?

Sleeping in it is great. I still kinda like the stealth sleeping of crawling in the back onto my sleeping platform a bit. I think I need to see how it is on my first 3-5 day trip. Setting it up and tearing down each night will determine if I can handle it or not. :1888fbbd:
Are you guys going to get one?

I was just going to ask you what you were going to do with your sleeping platform. Would you ever consider selling it?

I would consider it actually. If I sell it I was going to sell it with the "suv cargo caddy" which is the rear drawer system. I want to make sure I give whomever is going to use it every thing they need.

I'll keep this post in mind and shoot you a pm or I'll post about it if I decide to let it go. (its going to be hard to! It was one of the first things Danica and I made to start overlanding in the true sense!)

In my mind I'm either going to make a massive and strone roof rack the runs the length of the 4runer and contours to it. (think similar to 1leglance's Gobi rack) and then stick to camping inside on the platform.

Or

Get rid of the platform and rear drawers and start looking at saving up for an engel next year! and build some taller drawers that hold more and leave a spot for my mountain bike inside.

Yeah, please let me know! I'll actually be coming through Phoenix the last week of June (moving out west).

Cool, I look forward to that review. Ya, the Tent Cot, while comfortable, it just didn't live up to the RTT's that were at Sedonafest this weekend. I'm actually looking at many brands including a new one very similar to yours by Campinglabs.

I'm starting to look into sponsorships too, we have a ton of different trips coming up this year and a huge one to Alaska next and with the cost of gas any little bit will help.

My new, double thickness cover works great on the RTT.
No more holes. I also took the time to sand down the sharp edges on the ladder that made the holes in the first place.

Looks like you got a new ding in the rear door.
No, thats an old one from when my dirt bike decided to fall off the hitch carrier and climb through the back window to say hello to me! :bike_rider:
