2001 HZJ78 Landcruiser Troopcarrier.
We’ve just driven this vehicle 68,000km from Australia to Germany and were considering continuing but that plan has unfortunately not panned out.
This Troopy has flawlessly brought us here, we’ve had zero major mechanical issues on the drive. Only required to replace brake pads and bushes here and there and I’ve been a bit OCD about getting it serviced at the correct intervals.
The camper setup has proven to be very liveable throughout the trip and the little things like the hot water shower make all the difference!

- 4.2L 1HZ NA
- Dual Diesel tanks with total 180 litre capacity.
- Dual spare wheel carrier with jerry can and lockable toolbox.

- Warn XD9000 winch with synthetic winch rope(needs new solenoid).

- Air bag Man air bag rear suspension for load carrying.

Have been averaging around 11-12l/100km for the last 68,000km when driving at around 100. have also managed close to 10l/100 when cruising at 80-90kmh.
Always serviced at every 5000-7000km interval.
Full camper setup with pop top and interior fit out. Many special features to make long term travel very comfortable including:
- extended pop top skirt to allow for sitting up in the bed. New skirt is just over a year old. Four large windows around the top for a lot of air flow.
- Engel MT45 45 litre fridge.
- interior and exterior led lighting.
- 170l of water tanks, a bladder inside for the shower, an under body water tank and the jerry can on the back.
- hot water shower under the bonnet, uses engine heat to heat the water. This thing is incredible, can also pull water from a bucket or river and heat it for the shower head!
- Water filtration and pump system from the under water tank to an internal sink. Creates perfect drinking water from almost any water source!
- external gas bottle locker with two gas bottles included.
- lots of internal storage in the cabinets and under the couch.
- the couch can also be converted to a bed so the Troopy can sleep four people quite easily.
- 400 watt inverter for AC power.
- lots of USB ports for charging phones etc.
- fire extinguisher mounted behind the passenger seat.
- interior curtains the whole way around the car for total privacy.
- over head front console.
- fly screens over the rear windows.
- will also include our exped MegaMat Duo which is a kick ******** mattress! When deflated it can be stored in the space between the bed boards and the ceiling saving a LOT of interior space!
We are asking for €28,000 Euro and the vehicle is currently located in Frankfurt, Germany. I would be more than willing to drop this at any container port in Europe if required etc so just email me if you have questions.
