dual baterry

we have a 1999 suburban, and we install a dual baterry system but someting is not workin correct, can you post on how do you install yours.

What's not working correctly? Give us a little more info to help. From what I recall about my Chevy truck the dual battery system was wired in parallel (been a long time so this is a bit hazy) so you had lots of starting power but you could run down both batteries at the same time, meaning it wouldn't keep one of the batteries in reserve. Better to use an idolater and keep one for reserve.
