I've always been a huge fan of Bilsteins, and we have an account with them. I'm thinking 14" travel, 400/100 valving, short body with reservoir

Ok, I give up... What's a "Bro-roader?"

Its basically a semi-derogatory term for guys who have mall crawlers with Metal Mulisha and Monster Stickers on them. They may also have lots of chrome, oversized wheels on weak axles (no regearing) with King shocks that are way overkill for their rig. Its just kind of an image thing. I saw them all over when I was in Southern California.

I was thinking of the Fox 12" but I hadn't looked into more than "Thats what I want to do while I have the car in the shop and the engine bay empty."

Yeah I was thinking 12, but I realize 14" short bodies compress to the same 19.53" length that the 12" standard bodies.

Ahh, ok. My experience with King shocks goes way back to the mid-90's. One of the guys I worked with ran a Class 4 buggy in SCORE. I crewed his buggy for races. The things were legit. Mark drove that thing like he was Curt Leduc, "Never Lift."

Again, thats not anything against King. Their quality not in question, just some of the people who used them on their rigs.

I didn't even think about that. Thanks for that tidbit.

Just placed the order for the 7100 14" short bodies, next step is custom brake lines, and some sort of limiting straps, as well as cones and retainers.

The springs aren't long enough to retain them unfortunately, I want to get a little more droop. I'm not a huge cone fan, but I like to have all the wheels on the ground if possible(even if they're unladen).
