Have you tried freezing the shaft? Get a duster air can for electronics and invert the can, then spray the shaft with the liquid CO2. The metal will shrink up a bit. I've gotten stuff unstuck before using that trick.

I might give that a try tomorrow. I did get a quote from CVJ who said they could build me what I want for $620 shipped 2 custom cv axles. If I send two oem cv axles I could get $170 back but I don't know if I wanna give up my oem axles lol

If you are going to spend that kind of dough on axles they best be for long travel LOL

Long travel cost even more. Usually just $1000 for shafts.
They are toyota reman with oem parts so it's not to bad.

Took a break from the manual hubs to work on my water tank. I knew I was gonna cut the hump so the tank would fit further in and not take up space directly behind the seat. As it would have to sit closer to the seat in order to avoid the hump and the door. So cut cut was needed. Having a welder is a bad thing lol. I'm no pro welder. Probably the 3rd project I have done with it. Thin metal sucks but I'm surprised I didn't burn to many holes and was able to fill the holes back up with some more welds lol.

Ditched the back seats a few years ago for more useable space. These are photos of before I cut the floor. You can see the tank sits too close to the seat and I normally keep a bag or stuff right behind the seat floor area. This was why I wanted he tank to sit further back

Yeah I used his write ups 6 years ago when I did my elocker. Which is easier than doing the tundra one. I don't even want to touch the front diff. I don't have the patience so I sent them off.
