I'm always curious if the manual hubs will give better fuel efficiency or not.

Then again I'm sure the 35's make up any difference.

I'm sure it will help with MPG. The wheel in the air can free spin so much easier now. I can tell there is laterally no resistance sliming by hand. Just rides on a brand new koyo bearing.

Plus I'm regeared to 488 it's been a pleasure to drive so far. Can hold final gear the entire time on freeway where before it would downshift on the slightest up hill.

Why did you go with manual hubs?

More options. If I snap an axle I can unlock and not have to replace to drive.
I can run with no axles and my wheel bearings won't fall apart as the fixed cv axle is what sandwiches the bearing in place.
My cv boots will last forever as they don't ever spin at any speeds but when I'm using them at low speeds. Lifted trucks tend to put cv boots at an angle that allows them to rub which wears them out.
I can also use 4lo with front unlocked which will give me 2lo for backing up if I'm towing or if I wanna drift with much lower gearing.
Helps with MPG

Very cool! Have you figured out the dash 4x4 light yet?

Sure did. Just need to put the gray wire on the ADD to ground and it thinks the front add is locked. I plan on putting it on a switch otherwise it will keep flashing even when I'm on 2wd

Putting on some miles and loving the 488 gears. Had to make a cool down break for the gears at my local marlin crawler store.

Nice LC in the background. It would be pretty fun to have a chance to nose around in their store and shop.

No store front really. Everything is kept in back or built to order. Shops pretty cool but I mainly see them working on rigs. Assuming the R&D is hidden lol.

All vehicles in front of store are employees
