For sale is my 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited “LJ” with 97,000 miles and many upgrades, including an integrated overlanders kit in the cargo compartment.
I’ve had this jeep for a number of years and I’ve taken it with me on many adventures all across the American West; but now it’s time for me to take up a new chapter and find a new home for this cherished project.
I listened to the various forum gods who guided me on a path to get an LJ to run 35's "correctly" - and it feels like it! The camper box in the back was made by me, and while I was originally going to carpet it over, I ended up liking the exposed birchwood.
The cargo box folds out to accommodate interior sleeping, holds 50L of water, holds 2x NATO 20L fuel canisters, an ICECO fridge, and two large kitchen drawers with a pop-out cutting board lid. It also has a section dedicated for mounting a standalone power station and can carry many dufflebags of additional cargo.
It is mounted to the OEM seat rail mounts, with an additional two large bolts to the deck itself. I've done trails in various parks and it has never given me an issue.
The engine idles quietly, revs quickly, and automatic transmission shifts perfectly.
All electronics are functional. The Jeep lived in California previously, in a heated garage, and has zero rust.
