It's finally time to say goodbye to my favorite Jeep. We've owned this for several years in the same config as it is now and have absolutely loved it. We're not gonna be moving to Colorado anytime soon (as hoped) and in southeast VA this rig just isn't getting used all that much. I guess it's time...
She's a 2005 Unlimited – 2 door, long wheelbase. Rubicon trim with everything working as expected. The build was done at Rubitrux by, I believe, the second owner who lived in NC. First owner was in WV if I remember correctly and I'm the third. Truck as been wheeled by me a bit but not aggressively so or all that often. While we live not far from the Outer Banks of NC I've never taken it on the sand. Shame on me :snorkel:
The rig is built pretty well and it's gotten me anywhere I've wanted to explore – and has pulled plenty of other rigs out in the process:
Great rig in great shape. No rust, no dents, no damage. We'd keep her (and I did all last year after agreeing with the SO to sell) except we have adopted one too many Vanagons and something has to give. Asking price $16,000 or best reasonable offer. If I keep her another year I won't cry but I'm open to ideas so don't be shy.
More pics to come (freshly detailed!). Neither snow nor trailer nor scooter included with sale.

- 91xxx miles with regular maintenance. Current VA inspection and I'd drive it to California (mmmmm...) tomorrow. Fly and drive!
- Stock Dana 44 front and rear axles with standard lockers in good form. Rear locker has been replaced in the last year along with everything else between the half shafts.
- 5" Clayton long arm lift which rides very smooth. No shimmy, shake or wobble.
- Stock rims shod with 35" BFG AT tires and Spidertrax spacers. Good tread depth. Articulates fully to the stops without rubbing.
- Currie steering and JKS disconnects.
- Smittybuilt front bumper with Warn winch.
- Armor consists of Warn sliders and a steering skid plate.
- Garvin rear bumper + swing away tire carrier. Solid as hell; no rattles.
- Front aux lights (wired as stock) with interior light cut-off switch. Power has been routed to the rear for a fridge, etc. as well.
- New water pump about 18 months ago, new brakes and u-joint last year. Muffler replaced a couple years ago when I rerouted things to keep from smashing it at full articulation.
