Yes, I am very pleased with the Light Racing UCAs. The bushings are poly.
I was told I probably don't need them but with the kit purporting to offer an add'l 1.5" of travel I thought it was prudent. Glad I did so far.
I think they are about half the cost of the Total Chaos UCAs and seem extremely well-built.

Thanks! Yeah, rebuilding the suspension was about the last thing on my priority list for this week but that total failure of the old Bilstein shock was quite a jolt... I am darn glad it did not happen in some remote location.

Absolute total shout-out to Toytec. Doug runs a great company. Drew Frederick was simply superb on this whole thing. A company that answers the phone and serves their customers... seems like a lost art!

Drew is who helped me when we were picking out components for the OME kit on my Tundra and he went above and beyond to make sure everything would work perfectly

The uniball is suppose to be stronger and allows more travel vs Light racing which is just a standard ball joint that is adjustable. Not fan. Seen them fail
I have camburg and they only make noise when I go to the dunes. Otherwise i pressure wash the crap out of the balls and very light wd40 and it's ready to go noise free.

Just curious, have you tried a lubricant (such as that stuff from LocTite) as opposed to a solvent such as WD-40?
I was seriously looking at the Camburgs. I was warned that they have a lot of issues with customer responsiveness lately and was advised to steer clear.
Also curious about how/when you have seen the LRs fail? As the owner of a new set, I'd like to know what to look out for?

I only spray a little on the ball and wipe it clean. Whatever I don't get is enough to stop they noise. Honestly. Your not suppose to put any lube or fluid on them.
The failure I seen was on a 4 runner and I think the arm broke. LR sent a free replacement. He was running 35s and vehicle has tons of armor.
I just don't like the upper ball joint design. I think that would be that point of failure but mainly from over travel.
The upper ball joints look adjustable as well? I (don't ) trust that at all lol.
I have heard of factory upper ball joint failures and that was enough for me to go with a uniball design. I think icon makes one with a cap but nothing like that for the tundra.
As long as your not over extending the ball joints. You should be find. To inspect them. You just check for play

That might work out well. I am curious to see how you fare. Sounds like you have a very good set-up.
As far as my new suspension, it is working out very well so far. I had it on some rough roads this past weekend and it was oh-so-smooth. I'm also really liking the mild height increase on that long double-cab.
I have the FJ for any true 4-wheeling I do. But I do have this cool remote off-the-grid retreat which I really like to take the truck to; en route you encounter some rough primitive roads. And then I have a somewhat tricky private road with switchbacks, ruts, washouts occasionally and such. Just having the more beefy components and a tad more clearance is proving to be beneficial.
In retrospect, I'm sort of glad my hand was forced into moving on this project well before I may have otherwise.

Not sure why Camburg and Total Chaos don't make a cap that can easily be put on or removed to keep the uniballs clean. I'm always lubing them to keep them quiet.

I just put the same front suspension set up on my '06 Tundra. The ride is still plush over bumps and firm in the corners. I'm not too impressed with the welding on the Light Racing uca's. Time will tell if the arms will hold up. The Toytec Boss coilovers are a vast improvement over stock!
