My icons have about 35k on them with some decent wheeling and they're starting to get squeaky. I might end up having to do this sooner rather than later.

Mine had about the same amount as yours and they where done. the oil was terrible and most of the internal seals leaked including having nitrogen in the oil part of the shock! (very bad).

I will be doing mine every 2 years for sure, instead of 3.

ARB Fridge Freezer

Well, I was planning to get one later on, but came across a great deal at the local 4x4 shop I get things from here in Edmonton.

ARB fridge/freezer had come from a 4x4 show, and had a few scratches on the top of it so I got it for dealer cost! $695 bucks! Thank you very much Dan at 4 wheel auto wholesale! http://www.4wheelauto.com/

I'll snap a few pictures when I have a chance to get it all mounted in the truck!:wings::wings:

PS Edit - I know a few of you have fridges and I'm just wodnering the best way to hook it up. I have a 12v plug and a cigarette lighter plug for it and I was just going to use the 12v plug in the Taco's box to power it. Anybody have any better suggestions. I'm very new to this one :), My first fridge!

Bill's Gate - Alberta Safari Park

Hey guys,

Just thought I would send you a youtube video of me doing a good trail at the Alberta Safari Park.

The new springs worked great! This short trail Bills Gate 8/10 sure got the truck flexing really good. :smiley_drive::wings:

Those EXPO stickers should add at least 50 horsepower and 10 inches of wheel travel!

Some pretty nice "IFFlex" in that video. You must be locked up front? I didn't see any wheel spin when you lifted the front tire.

Yup, good eye! I was locked and unlocked in the front through the whole thing. Fully locked up in the back. Give better control and makes the truck more predicable. :smiley_drive:

Got a few more pictures from the last wheeling trip from a girl who was with us.

Not bad but shows a few nice flexing shots!:wings:

Part Numbers?

I would really like some more spring rate under my front axle, you have found the only option I'm aware of with these 700-lb King Springs. Unfortunately, I would have to buy coil-over shocks to fit the King Springs (I currently have OME).

What is the part number for these springs?

I've emailed King asking about any USA King dealers.

Any more to share? Do you know your truck's front axle weight wet/loaded?

Thanks

I'll snaps some pictures tonight when I get home from work for you guys. I also have the new OME extra leaf in the back now too.

Yes they are a 700lbs x 14" spring. The crappy 650lbs Icons came out.

I did a rebuild on the coil-overs at the same time and made them extended coil-overs too.

The ride is firmer don't get me wrong, but they handle the bumper and winch so much better! :victory:

Hi

The part number for these springs is 3.14.700 according to the King website.

I'm sorry I don't know the trucks front axle weight as I have moved the battery and got synthetic winch line to help take some weight of the front of the truck. My truck is 5680lbs right now unloaded, Warn 9.5xp winch and ARB bumper and the new springs handle them like a champ, a much better ride and I still get good flex too.

See Video

you may have seen it before, but that the performance I get right now and I'm pretty happy.
