Could be! Interesting that Addison never came close to his hardlines. No way it would have been okay on my truck after swapping from the S13WE to the 13WG and then to the 13WL with the better port angle. I think his year was the year they started coming with the bigger caliper on them?

When I installed my Camburg coilovers I had new lines made at Edmonton Brake and Clutch on the west end. I think 180st or so. Grungy looking shop but did a nice job and had a reasonable price.

I did get Sean's Fox's. Haha, that's who I emailed. Seems to be the best game in town.

True, but with the wheels further forward in the wheel well and the top mount of the coilover in the same place, it changes the angle and looks as though it would have improved how the coilover compressed towards the brake fitting.

Regardless, switching from the 13WG to the 13WL and going to the banjo fitting got things out of the way. Addison never had an issue with his hard brake lines and the same coilovers. I'm not sure why. Could be because his truck came with the larger calipers, the same as wrenchmonkey, and there is something slightly different in the swap that isn't obvious.

I am running about 3 degrees of caster right now and -0.25 camber with my Camburgs and SPCs. That seems to be the best compromise. It seems that the SPC and Total Chaos UCA combo was a bit easier to align on the same machines (on TYV12s truck) I had around 4 degrees of caster before but a crazy amount of negative camber. Changing out the LCA'S helped. I do rub my frame slightly just shy of full lock on the inside when turning, which I can fix by maxing caster, but then camber goes to crap. The curse of a wide tire like the Duratrac.

As for the calipers, I am pretty sure with my 13WL I won't have any issues, but once I get it all done and installed I'll be sure to comment.

Ahh. Your right about the coilover not moving at the top. Mine touches and signs of wear. Not sure if I let it be it would wear a hole. I got some new lines. Just need to figure out which banjo I need. Which you told me but I forgot

I couldn't tell ya off the top of my head. I took my hard line into Napa and they matched the threads and got me a banjo bolt that fit. The shop I had put the brake lines together had the banjo fitting. I ended up grinding my banjo bolt down to where I can barely get a socket on it to give it max clearance. There is a vendor online that sells low profile banjo fittings and bolts. That would be the way to go I'd think. I needed mine made same day so I could drive the truck.

Thanks Sean, I found the banjo bolt you linked too.

Today I took my homemade bumper off and got it ready to be shipped to its new home. I'll be making another one later this year. Put my old beat up OEM one on back on for now.

Also finished up the winch switch mounting.

First tank of gas through the truck after tires. With a mix of highway and city, and a bit of warming up and a bit of 4WD, I got a corrected 460KM (16.5% correction hahha) on 88L of fuel. That gives me about 18.8L/100KM or 12.5 MPG. Awesome! Good thing my DD is a 2.0L 4 Banger 5 Sped. :)

16.5%? I did a tank with gps to calculate the difference in speed and it was 13% difference so thinking ur gonna be closer to 20l/100kms :)

Getting ready to head out of the country for the next 6 months. Hopefully my Odyssey battery charger shows up before I go as the truck wont be getting many KMs while I am gone.

Also, I need to look into bumping up my charging voltage a bit. I'd like to get 14.5 or 14.7 which AGM's really like and I get around 14.2at idle with no load. While cruising at RPM I get around 14.00 flat so I'd like to bump that a bit. I did not want to do it, but I think I may have to run a new ground cable to the block (which is a PITA) and a new + cable.

I've also started thinking about my new rear bumper design and am going to go with a spare tire holder, two 20L jerry can holders and a highlift jack mount on a tube bumper with hitch.

I've also decided to chop off the front bumper on a 45 angle more or less. Will increase the approach angle a bit and make the lines tie in more. I decided to give the Duplicolor Bed Liner a try when I get home for paint as I have not been happy with any spray on bed liner.
