Mine already has the lift and tires but I agree, it doesn't have the good look of one that is custom. That being said, the functionality of it would be great

I run the Cooper at3's in a 235/85/16 on my tundra. It has been a great tire!

Regarding the tires I personally would go with the at3 over the atp. I currently have atp's on my tundra in the 265/70 flavor and while I really cant complain about them, they're getting the job done, I feel like I got better traction and wear out of the at3's that were on my old work truck.

Perfect! Exactly what I was looking for was real world experience. What size did you have previous and did you notice better mileage or power with a 235? The AT3 weighs 12lbs less than the 265 ST Maxx I am currently running
Good info, thank you! The ATP doesn't come in a 235 so I'd have to go with a 265 if I went with that tire

I just bought a new to me 2005 Tundra DC TRD same color as yours. I'm going to do a Toytec OME lift for it at some point (or Bilstein's 6112 kit, Bilstein told me it was going to be released in April for 1st gen Tundras) and I'm trying to decide what tires. I like the idea of 255/85/16, but I want to buy 5 and that is alot of coin for tires. If you get the 235/85/16s please post pics as I'd love to see them on your truck with that lift. 235s are significantly cheaper. 
I like the looks of the UTE beds. If anything ever happens to my bed, I'm going that route. After renting a P/U from Home Depot with a UTe bed type setup, I'm sold on their functionality. Plus it's a great platform for a flatbed camper from ATC or FWC. I inquired about a UTe bed for a Tundra last year (I almost bought one that had been rear-ended) and it was $3200 + $170 for the light kit and about $400 shipping to GA. Not cheap....but few things worth having are.

Went in to Toytec today to talk to Drew about changing from my Old Man Emu setup to their Boss setup. As always he took time to answer every question and as in the past he passed an easy opportunity to take quite a bit of my cash and let me know that for my purposes the OME setup is what I need. They have earned my business for life. I did buy some 1 1/4" wheel spacers because I was putting on some 255's when I left there and didn't know if they would run or not
Had two of the Cooper ATP tires get warrantied at Diacount Tire and they only had 29,000 miles on them. Those tires simply did not last and were all beat up badly. Went back to the Cooper ST Maxx but instead of the 265/75/16's I had been running I stepped up to 255/85/16's. They don't rub so I may return the spacers unless there's a benefit to running them regardless. Thoughts?
I have put 120,000 miles on it in 2 1/2 years. I would bet 50,000 or more of those were on dirt and some of that has been damn rough. I LOVE these first generation Tundra's!
