Very cool. I can not show this to the Mrs. She will overcome her Mini Convertible infatuation and I will be seeing this in the driveway. Then I will be jealous.

Naw, you'll just have 2 very good overland vehicles!

I thought I read somewhere about the Jeep have electronic disco's? How would this work!?

I don't like this particular color, but I love the way this looks

It's a very similar system to the power wagon. The end links don't disconnect but rather the swaybar itself has a break in the middle that at the push of a button separates so the two sides flex independently. Perty cool idea.

I've been following this thread with interest. I've been a fan of JEEP for many years. We've owned four: 1964 Wagoneer, '64 CJ3A, '68 CJ5, and a '84 Cherokee. They all performed well for us except the '64 Wagoneer. We had valve problems from the get-go with it and we negotiated a deal with the dealer for the CJ3A.

The Cherokee made a trip to the Yukon in '88.

We saw several Liberties in South Africa this past January and two were all tricked out with mods (snorkels, sliders, etc.).

On a side note. Any of you want to hazard a guess as to the location of the ad photos above? I'm betting that among us we can come up with the spot.
We can eliminate the Smoky Mts. :)

No kidding. I noticed - off the bat nonetheless - the lovely creosotes. Not too far from home at all.

Unless I'm wrong.....

Well, I was all ready to start saving for that F-250 to get some extra room now that the kid has arrived, because even though I saw some spy shots of the 4 door a few months ago, I just couldn't picture it having much cargo room. Well, it appears it holds it's own... maybe not as much as a fullsize truck with topper, but packed right, it could carry a decent bit of equipment.

Ah, choices choices...

Good thing that I have about a 2 year timespan to decide, while I pay off the Wrangler I have now...

2 years gives plenty of time for DC to get it right with a Diesel.

And just when I thought I was gonna have to get out of a Jeep...

I was a big fan of the Gladiator, but I think I dig this more.

Except that color. Ick.

I don't think you are wrong. I'm just trying to connect the water and the mountain ridges. The flora does seem to plunk it somewhere near us...unless they used that small part of the Sonoran Desert that pops up in British Columbia. :xxrotflma

I'm sorry. My question has taken an "off-topic" turn.

First-year vehicle platforms always have alot of bugs that need to be worked out, and the new Wrangler Unlimited will be no exception.

Nope. Rescue concept wheels. Very cool looking. Although, living in Lancaster County, that thing screams Mennonite - not that there's anything wrong with that. I much prefer the red variation of this same photochop.
