2010 Dodge Ram 2500 6.7 Cummins 4x4 Crew Cab Long Bed, Big Horn Package
This truck is ready for work or adventure! It has only 55,000 miles and lots of extras. This vehicle is covered under a transferrable Maximum Care Warranty to 100k miles. The tires are Nitto Trail Grappler 35" with lots of tread. Two brand new batteries this winter. S&B Air Intake with cleanable filter. Complete towing package including brake controller and exhaust braking. The crew cab is enormous with plenty of room in the back seat for people and gear, with storage under the seats as well as in the floor. Weathertech floor mats in the front and rear have kept the carpets in excellent condition. Touch screen stereo with Satellite Radio, hands free bluetooth, DVD, and integrated hard drive for storing music. An ARE MX shell with a full rear door has perfectly matched paint and yakima roof racks.
It is currently set up as an adventure rig for road trips and camping. Two full length drawers slide out to provide easy access to all of your gear or tools. Above the drawers is an extremely sturdy platform for a queen size mattress. Due to the raised roof of the ARE shell there is plenty of room to move around. The shell is lined with carpet which eliminates condensation on cool nights. Sliding windows on either side are fitted with screens for excellent airflow. All windows also swing open for easy access to the bed of the truck. The rear door replaces the tailgate and offers two means of access. The center glass door swings open for quick and easy access, or the entire door swings up to provide unobstructed access to the bed. There is ample lighting provided by an LED strip down the center of the shell. In addition, there is also an Espar diesel furnace installed in the back, which allows the bed of the truck to be heated without running the truck's engine. It uses only a small amount of DC power for a fan and burns diesel very efficiently. We have slept through blizzards in the rocky mountains with nothing more than a blanket. The heater is controlled by a thermostat. Just set the temperature and it will cycle on and off as needed.
I bought the truck specifically for this purpose. We used it for an extensive road trip around the US as well as many shorter adventures, and it brought us to some very beautiful and remote places. It has been on many back roads but was never abused!
This set up could also make an excellent work truck! Without the mattress there is a large, durable cargo area and loads of room for tools and parts in the full length drawers.
Overall the truck is in great condition and has been maintained regularly by a dealership. Regular oil changes with synthetic oil. A few minor scratches and a small dent in the rear bumper occurred before I bought the truck.
In current configuration $35,000 OBRO. Drawers and heater are removable, so if you don't want the heater $34,000 OBRO. Serious inquiries only.
