No, what issues did you hear about. The Demello is also attached to the sides of the frame, I haven't heard of any problems.

perhaps i misread some info. perhaps it was in reference to the 1st gens? Im currently in the process of figuring out what I'm gonna do with my rear suspension as I have a case of the saggy/driver side lean. I need to read your build more thoroughly before I ask questions about it.

No problem, I haven't heard of a problem with any of Jasons bumpers.

no problems with the bumpers, just the frame having to be reinforced to support the load/leverage that the bumpers create. If that isn't the case with the 2nd gens I will be rethinking the hind quarters of my truck.
having read through your build it appears that you are still using stock leafs.is that still the case? did the truck ride differently with the extra weight behind the rear wheel? It would seem that it would be "bouncier" in some fashion necessitating a leaf change.

Sold it with 253,000 on the original engine and driveline, lady that bought it drove it from San Diego to Panama and all around Central America for 3 months and back with no problems!

Lady who bought that named Kathleen? Sounds like my wife's friend/coworker when we lived in Solana Beach.

Ditto on the "Congrats on the Article". I was sitting there going, "Hmmm, why do I recognize this build?" :D

Nice truck. I miss the single cab days. Darn kids.

Those single cabs can get into some really tight spots.

What modsl ICON rear resi shocks are you running and do you like them?

I have the standard remote resi shocks. and I love them, there is a noticeable change in performance from stock. All of their products are top shelf and are completely made in the US. If for some reason you have a problem or need a rebuild customer service is second to none.

I'm going to upgrade to the new 2.0 aluminum bodies, Tacodoc is running them on his truck now so I'm sure he'll have a report on them before me.
