Great Truck Tacovendor, I too have a white regular cab with similar lift height. I am seriously considering 255 km2's but I was wondering if I could get some feedback about their performance on our specific chasis!

First, how are they in the snow? I regularly drive in poor snow covered roads/highways/trails with my all terrains and they do fine, how will the skinny km2's perform?

Also, how are they on the day to day road trips? Noise?

Finally, any MPG difference?

Thanks for the info!!

As you can see we finally got some snow 20"'s w/ an ice base and the tires worked flawlessly. Being 33's the truck has to work harder and it plays hell with th e clutch. so if I don't re gear soon I will go smaller. No road noise, handle very well on the road and wear better than the old Km's. I've never been stuck, just temporarily delayed!!!!

Was down in Borrego for a shake down and the truck worked great! Nice to get a cold beverage out of the ARB fridge no to deal with ice. Traveled from Coyote Canyon over to Split Mtn. It was an awsome first trip out. Haven't decided on what type of tent to go with so we slept in the FJ for the night. The picture of both vehicles below is in Split Mountain.

Very cool! Looks like some nice country. If I had to choose between the FJ and the Taco I would walk away because I want them both!!

i have literally had dreams about building my tacoma exactly like this minus the camper shell.

SEXY! :wings:

would you do the km2's on steelies again or a different wheel tire set up? it looks like the perfect combo for regular cabs.

I'll post here instead of tacomaworld since more of my time is here. Do you have pics of the inside of the camper build?
Your truck is literally amazing. I wish General Grabbers came in that tire size.

I love the tires and steel wheels can be repaired out in the field if they get bent. The only problem with the tires is due to their size I'm going to re gear.
I might be getting some General Red letters and will post the differences. I'm still working on the shell inside at this time I have an ARB 45L fridge/freezer on a slide and a WARN SPI air compressor and 2.5 gallon tank. I don't plan on sleeping in the back, the shell was a necessity for my dogs (can't do any climate control in crates). As for whats on top;
3 Zarges 470's with misc. camp stuff, primus stove and propane tank. MaxTrax, Awning enclosure and sleeping bags, folding kitchen. On one side is a Campinglab 2m awning and there is a Hi Lift Extreme on the other. Here's one more cool shot of both of my vehicles at Split Mountain.

I can't quite tell but it looks like you have a toyota sticker across your tailgate. I've been thinking about doing something like that. Is it just a sticker or an actual custom type paint job? BTW you have an awesome rig!

Ended up changing the tires out and got some of the General Grabber red letters, they sure handle better with less noise. They are 285/75/16's have a bit of rubbing with the stock rims, will get some wheels w/ the right offset and that won't be a problem. Here's a few pics;
