2011 Jeep Wrangler Spy Shots...

There is a thread on JKforum. I like it . Never did understand why a tough vehicle can't have a comfortable interior unless you are just mudding. My old land cruiser had leather power seats heated seats and ran 35's with a full wrap around arb and front end protection. I wish I had never sold it

Exactly my thoughts.

i'm a Jeep lover, i've been a Jeep lover for a long long time, but does anyone else think that if the rear doors on a JK Unlimited just popped out and slid backward the thing would look just like a minivan??? all it needs is a hatch back and the nightmare will be true.

I think the resemblance to an H3 is much much higher than a minivan. IF they are coming toward me I have to look twice to make sure it's a Jeep.

No.

I agree with others on here, I wish it had a little more luxury, ie. power seats. My wife and I are 8" different in height and power seats are just easier to get "just right" when we switch out driving duties.
I see nothing wrong with being comfortable in your rig. I just don't get where this attitude of having to suffer while you drive being necessary while driving offroad. I come from long line of plain jane vehicles and you can have them. I like my newer more optioned vehicles. I think it cuts down on trail fatigue big time. One of the great things about my 80 is that we can cover several hundred miles off road and when we are done for the day, you don't feel like crap.

After having endured older Jeeps and other vehicles etc I have decided that a comfortable semi quiet vehicle is a great thing on long trips. Good brakes and steering and less road and engine noise are a good thing in my book.

I think electronic gadgets controling transfercase, etc. should be avoided.

i don't think i could ever really see myself in a JK.

1. the engine sucks
2. the transmission is junk (automatic version)
3. interior is cramped
4. too much road noise
5. the engine sucks
6. its small

okay, that being said, it has some great axles i'd stick under my 94' GC ZJ with a 5.2L V8 any day, and the transfer case.

then i'd have all the stuff i want and need.

Ha.. Hopping in the 2007 4 door rubi I had for a short while (damn divorce) after driving my lifted TJ for 10 years..

1.) Engine was ok
2.) Manual transmission was decent
3.) It was VERY VERY quiet
4.) it was CAVERNOUS inside.

I guess it depends on your perspective.

I can see what you guys are talking about with the 'comfort' options. My 1968 M725 now has power windows, coil springs up front, and power heated leather seats. The TJ has heated seats as well.

1. Engine works fine
2. Auto tranny is ok, nowhere near as nice as my Tacomas auto.
3.Don't find it cramped at all
4. Road noise? It's a heck of a lot quieter than any TJ or YJ ive been in.
5. Could use more power, but i don't need or want a v8 so doesn't bother me.
6. Small? Never heard someone say a JK is too small before. Certainly not a JKU.

1)-engine is fine (OD OFF)
2) tranny great with aux cooler
3)-I'm 6'4" and I can sleep in my JKU
4)-So quiet (insulation) cell phone use is easy
5)-repeat
6)-It's small only if it's 2dr

Not sure if anybody noticed this on the fleet release stuff that hit a few days ago, but in addition to white, they are offering sahara tan... that might just suck me in!!

2011 Fleet Brochure

Oooh nice, Sahara Tan, too bad mines a 2010, be a while before I trade in lol.

Odd, they seem to have renamed what I have, Stone White to Bright White.
