thinking maybe 5 or 6 trucks from east coast arrive early or stay late and do the Continental Divide Trail- any interest?
Matt- hope the Disco is ready, you thought Uwharrie was a trip :Wow1:

Dale, if the Disco is ready I am in. The IIa to CO might be pushing it time wise but what a trip it would be, 2 lanes all the way.

I see you've added to the list- does the Ural have a side car?

Man that would be a lot of fun. LONG drive though...hmmm

Yeah it would be but if we could get a small group together and take 2 days to get there it could be fun. I've got a lot of work to do (and $$ to spend) but August does give me time. The trails out west sure would be nice to ride.

if everybody had a copilot we could definitely get there in 2 days, just take turns driving until we get there..well that was my perfect world plan anyway:coffee: but if that didnt happen it would be well worth the long days of driving by myself.... and then i remembered we drive land rovers and most plans that ive made with a rover have had to be modified in some way haha:088:

on another note: what are the entry fees for the event other than alot of gas money(im gonna start saving now)?

Three of the most hilarious Canadian Englishmen drove to Moab last fall for giggles and grins, they got 'em.. and thanks they did... one gave me a spare tie rod, although obviously straightened several times I was not complaining! Yes I broke a tie rod on 'Top of the World' aye...

Thanks guys if you're on this board!

Message.. don't be afraid of a little road trip... on their way home to Eastern Canada, they went to San Francisco before going North!

Good point on the gas JG-if this $4/gal happens that could get very pricey in rig that get 15 at best.
