Hello Everyone,
I'm just getting ready to purchase a 2011 Tacoma double cab TRD with auto trans. I want to put a suspension system on right away. I have been researching and researching. I am familiar with ARB OME from my fJ80. It seemed to ride well and was very durable. I have also looked at the ICON suspension system. My concern with ICON is that I live in North East, PA and they use tons of salt in the winter and I'm worry about corrosion. I have also read that you need to rebuild the shocks roughly every 35,000 miles. I plan on using my Tacoma for overland travels out West and upto Alaska. I don't want to have to worry about durability. Can anyone help with their thoughts and experience with the ride and long term durability? I plan on putting on 255 or 285 BFG KM2 tires. Thanks
