Just found out from a GM employee of the Hummer 4x4 Offroad forum that the Colorado and H3 have the same part number for the headers. :D

That's cool but just a heads up the doug's were made for a 2wd Colorado so for the to clear the T-bar on a 4wd Colorado you have to cut 1" off the right side header so the second pipe can slide on past the t-bar but if your went sfa you should not have that problem

It would have been cool to get the iron diff but I don't think I'll find one cheep enough for me to justfi buying so most likely when I blow the stock front I'll just go sfa and call it good

You got a link to your build ?

Here's the most complete write up I have of my build. It's a long read because the build took more than two years to do. Even then it's still far from finished. My problem is that I'm overseas a lot so I don't get to work on it much. It's slowly getting there.

Holy s I did not realize that was your h3 I absolutely love that thing I remember seeing it when the build first started with the notch back and fell in love watching that build almost made me want to go and get a h3 just to copy the way the body is done.

And I see your in NC so maybe in the next year or so I'll get to see that thing in person maybe try and meet up at some wheeling event or something because I'm in southern MD so I'm about 5 hours north

I think the colorado is one of the cleanest looking pickups out there...not sure of interior quality but IMO the front end is stylish and means business...wish the manual tranny was an option for the V8

nicest looking chevy truck i've ever seen...i love the colorado size and appearance! good work man

Who needs a warranty???

Ha.

Nice truck.

Thanks guys

And I've never been one to worry much about warranties ;)

Definitely. I don't get back Stateside till after new years. I'll be itching to take the H3 out. A couple of the guys were thinking of taking a run to Rausch Creek or maybe even Harlan. Will definitely keep you posted on what we do.

Cool bro let me know by time you get back I'll have my bumpers done and winch on and would be ready to go. I have been looking forward to getting up to rausch creek, I have never looked into Harlan but I'll be googling it soon

I joined this forum to follow your build

I just happened to be suffering from insomnia tonight and stumbled across your Colorado thread. I was trying to find bumpers and lift information and the almighty google thought I should check this out. I am so glad to see someone building one of these trucks. I love the McNeil fenders/bed sides and and can't wait to see what all you have planned for your truck. I'd love to lift mine sometime in the near future and swap bumpers. Until then i'm only looking for factory wheels, and a TB crank/level kit. I hope to eventually do the CST suspension lift and a cap with basket on top. Again, amazing truck. I will be following this and your trailer build.

Kind regards,

Nick, SE Ohio

p.s. if you plan on selling any stock parts... wheels/tires etc. Let me know.
