Don't bother, cut up an old pillow. That's what's in there typically. Do the front speaker enclosures as well. A little peel and seal doesn't hurt either. It's what I did when I replaced the stock speakers with the Boston Acoustics from the Challenger.
I had experience with nutsert tools before with my savvy corners and knew that they start to gall after about 10 nurserts. Considering these rockers use 13 nutserts a side I bought 3
Passenger side done
Unfortunately drilling and placing the nutserts was as far as I got last night. I came back this morning and finished up drilling out a nutsert I messed up and replacing it. Resprayed the rocker panels and messed around with getting my trasharoo setup
nice rig! i jus read through ur whole build thread and i am impressed. i contemplated selling my 4Runner Trail and buying a Jeep several times lol. looking forward to more mods and updates and keep up the good work.
Enjoy following your thread, all of the major stuff on my 12 JKUR is done so its little things like lights and CB projects for me but reading your thread makes me want to find another big project :sombrero: Fender flares maybe? Your Jeep looks great and you have made some great choices in your build.
One more thing RYNOMAR and I went 1/2ers on a true nutzert tool (about 100$) but way worth it so easy to use and it took a lot of the worry out of drilling and installing the nutzerts. I know you seem to be done with nutzerts for awhile but anyone else my want to consider the tool. :coffeedrink:
