New headlights finally arrived. After breaking the glass ones while wheeling (hot glass and cold muddy water do not mix), decided it was time to get the HID projectors. Also picked up a set of used Vision X fog lights. They don't work too well as fogs, and I get flashed a bit when I use them... but thanks to the new HIDs, I'll never really have to use them again. Not a big fan of the boob look, but they're so effective that it more than makes up for the appearance.
BB doesn't seem to take a decent picture when I have the lights on. But have the perfect cutoff with the step. Projectors are from
HID Projectors and cost $420 for the basic kit with the upgraded ballasts and them putting them together. That includes me sending them my old lights. They do have a DIY kit, but labor was only $100 extra, and I didn't really want to tackle that. So far (after only one brief rip) I think they're well worth the money spent. Especially as I needed to replace the headlights anyway.
Now to start saving for the front bumper and winch.
