I also added a nifty Mopar euro spec hood lock.

It codes to your factory ignition key.

I figured since there's almost $1500 under the hood, it was time to keep it all safe.

Definitely look at the MCE flairs, I have a set on my tj and the quality is awesome! I've also "tested" out the flexibility of them and they hold up well. High clearance, high quality and looks way better than stock!

even if your not wanting a lift to clear the 35" tires you should look at Teri-Flex 1.5" lift. The 1.5" lift is 2" lift in front & 1" lift in the rear aka 1.5" loft which levels the Jeep while giving a small amount of lift. Even if the flares give you clearance for the tires you will benefit form the HD coils that won't sag from a winch or gear.

There's a strong possibility that I will do something like this down the road.

My JK has the heavier rear springs, so even loaded up with all of my gear, I have ZERO issues with sagging. Then again, my gear doesn't weigh as much as most.

I'm pretty sure I've chosen the MCE Flat Fenders to put on my Jeep. They maintain an OE-style finish and texture, and supposedly they're the Nalgene of the fender world—unbreakable. Plus they're made in the USA by a small company that's trying to get some traction in the market with a good product—I can totally relate to that working with Pronghorn.

The picture above is one of their JKs running 37s on a Teraflex leveling kit.

I've also been checking out an sPOD for the last month, I can't even begin to say how happy I am with the product and the customer service at sPOD. Another small American manufacturer more people should support.

It is certainly an expensive unit, but the simplicity it brings to your wiring is priceless. Seriously, I LOATHE wiring, and now I get comments from my friends. "Wow, you did such a good job wiring this Jeep"

Yep, uh-huh, I...uh...did that myself.

Look for the full rundown and install on the front page in the next week or so.

If anyone was curious, here's another picture of where I remounted my Rigid Industries SR2 Lightbar.

I usually run it with the amber covers.

I wasn't totally sold on LED light bars before this unit, but I doubt I'll ever go back to a traditional light again. The ability to combine a spot and a wide beam in such a small space is pretty impressive. I just need to figure out where I'll mount it when I get the Top Mount Winch Case installed.

I don't think you will be disappointed. I have a buddy running them on his LJ and they are heavier duty than expected and look great. They are on my list for sure.

Keep the Jeep, trade in the wife for a less materialistic one. Results in a better long term experience.

Awesome choice, you will love them! They are great quality and one of the best things I've done to my jeep. Mike at mce is also one of the most helpful guys you will talk to if you ever need anything!
