Oh and forgot the Rough Country gas tank skid that I added after I smashed my stock one on the Mojave Road and the Rugged Ridge control arms skids. Like I said... Busy

Here is my 2012 MW-3

I too have decided years ago to go with keep it simple stupid. ExPo 2013 I talked with Dennis the head Honcho of Terra Flex and he set me up with 1.5 coils all around running Fox 2.0 shocks. I’m at the age I really do not wish to rock crawl the difficult stuff anymore. These days, I mainly use my jeep to run errands and enjoy day drives here in our county. Due to the sevier fire danger, in addition to be former youthful wildland firefighter days, I do not feel comfortable camping amonsgt our millions of acres of fuel as darn near every tree is dead, or near death.

I think too too few (My Old Buddies) want to go out anymore tent camping as we did in the 1970’s through the 80’s.

Camping of yore offered serinity. The Hords we see today pile up on virtually every major popular trail make such undertakings not so much to my liking anymore. My wife refuses to ever venture out again, she views it as too much work.

On another note...

I wish those reading my post could see Alaska BEFORE the oil pipeline even began contruction. I was there, a youthful adventurous teen having little money, a big heart for adventure, meeting people who took me on and show me the way such rugged true Alaskans lived in conditions seldom mentioned today. As my kids says, shut-up Dad... No one cares.

So, here is a photo of my 2 door JK, and my 1988 TrekMaster Trailer I had built here in Bakersfield, Ca.

Back when Gulf War One began to become a reality, this little trailer company suddenly became overwhelmed producing water trailers of every origin. Sadly, the overwhelming stress (1000 trailer for Army) took its toll—the family had to close its doors. I am one of three trailer owners still using our TrekMasters here in Bakersfield.
