Doesn't Get Out Enough
I thought they did, albeit as an Infiniti? The Q56 or whatever it's called? Isnt' that just a gussied up Patrol?...

I guess the frame architecture of the full-size Titan Pickup and Titan Armada SUV might share something with the overseas Patrol, but I was always under the impression they are standalone creations for the North American market because of their more American body/cabin dimensions. I really don't know...

We're talking apples and oranges.

You are referring to the QX56, which is the Infiniti version of the Nissan Armada (although it's hard for me not to call it the Armadillo.:D )

The Q56 is the US-spec version of the Patrol and has been available in the US since at least 2011.

The only differences would likely be things like the engine (I presume in other markets they can get a diesel), possibly the transmission (some markets might prefer a manual) and of course the Q56 being part of a "luxury" brand is going to be filled with lots of high cost features, while other markets might get a more utilitarian "poverty package" that's not available here.

I actually like that baby blue color. I hope someday in the future, the FJC makes a comeback, but with a droptop version. I would definitely buy one.

Toyota was already thinking of you Corey. You can get a new Tacoma with vinyl floors now.
Not super huge on that blue either.
If I had to replace my FJ for some reason down the road, I would do one of two things.

1. Brand new Tacoma four door, and set it up like my FJ now with the roof top tent, and have all the carpet yanked out, and a floor like the FJ.
I like the utilitarian feel of the FJ, and the water proof seats very much, plus the styling.

2. A used BJ70 turbo diesel if I could get my hands on one.

Not sure exactly but I assume they would because off all the floormat issues. I think when I bought my fjc or my camry I had to sign a waiver stating they informed me off the floormat hooks.
