I have a Viair380C. Its slow, but does the trick even for our 35's @ 70PSI

The compressor, pressure switch, tank, etc, all tuck under the passenger side running board.

Awesome! Thank you for the info!

Ooooo nice!
That twin switch and double needle gauge is pricey but a sweet piece of kit.
Thanks for sharing!

Well that was fun... got into the truck to take a couple table bases to powdercoat and this happened...

Gear shift bracket broke in two places...
Luckily a dealership 30 min from me had one in stock. Took a while to get all the trim pieces off and figure out how to get it off.

Then I had to figure out how to depress the new bracket to get it to link up with the shifter cable. Once that was done, all back together and shifts much smoother. I think the solenoid was going out, bc going from lock to shifting was really hard sometimes.

Glad they had the part and I had the time. $130 and 2 hours later. All back to get her and the table bases got to Powdercoat with 20min to spare before they closed for the holiday.

We’re leaving on Christmas Day to drive down 101 and back for 5 days. Wish us luck! Road trips with 2.5 year olds are always a roll of the dice.

Happy holidays everyone!

Taking stock and changing out some of my first aid kit. Always fun to see, and repack this baby. It lives in my truck for easy access next to emergency food, stove, water, hatchet, shovel and tire patch kit. Gotta love the back seat of the Ram trucks. So many storage options.

The full view. NSAIDS and other oral drugs are in a separate area with my epi-pens.

Some of the stuff in my pack you need real training for. My wife and are or have been certified in Wilderness First Aid Response, high angle rescue, white water rescue, and general lifeguard stuff. As well my best friend married a flight surgeon and she is a PA. So we do nerdy training stuff when we get together and are bored.

Always fun doing this on a nice clean surface. Oregon White oak table top getting all finished up for a client.

Took the family down 101 for 5 days. It was amazing. Truck did great. Found some, fixable, issues with the camper. Had great weather. It was like one long great deep breathe.

Got my CJC off-road fog pocket mounts yesterday. I currently have a pair of regular BD Squadrons and one of the Squadron R’s(the round ones) we’ll see if they fit

Anybody want to vote?? I’m thinking my next pair of lights...Amber Squadron Pros... A-Pillar or on the bumper?? I’m thinking in the bumper bc the A-pillar bracket is $150 and drilling holes is free

Squadron pros are going on the fog pockets. One combo, and one spot.

Put in the fog pocket Baja Designs kit today. Super simple install, and with 4 BD Squadron Pros, it’s crazy bright.

(Don’t worry, they got aligned after this)

BD vs factory

Now I just have to figure out where the amber ones should go. Any thoughts?

Or maybe make a bracket off the tow hook bolts to put them inset in the bumper void...
we’ll see

So far I’m super happy with my Baja Designs Squadron Pros in their fog pocket kit. Super easy install, and they are super bright. I have the centers pointed forward, and the outlets clocked just a few degrees out. The results are amazing. I can’t recommend that kit enough.

Now onto making some brackets for the amber set. A-pillar, or behind the lower grill by the tow hooks. We’ll see...

I put an s&b in my f150 ecoboost and it great. The price was not terrible and its a very quality unit.

I put an AFe in my Lexus GX, and like all the AFe products ive owned, it was stupidly expensive and left a little to be desired.
