Much thanks to Emil at MasterPull Recovery! After going back and forth with him he suggested he'd be happy to customize a specific length of their Superline XD with the appropriate ends to accommodate the new (exchanged the 10-s) Warn Zeon 12 Platinum, and make sure that it will spool up correctly and withstand the 2000 lb greater winch requirements. Apparently, he got a couple Zeons to start testing on!
Best part? He/they aren't charging me a red penny more than for the standard line at a similar length! Great customer service from a great company. People on other sites have said as much about him/MasterPull, and I can tell you they are in fact easy to work with and exceptionally helpful. Very happy when I stumble on companies like this.

I'm going to be putting the lighting on and wiring it all up on the same weekend soon, but some of it isn't here yet (95k+ lumens!...Not a typo. Don't ask why, just go with it ;).
In the meantime, I have to give a heads up to Alec from EAD Offroad. I posted an issue on a lighting thread elswhere I was about to face trying to install a 50" Baja Designs Arc series light bar on my new Gobi rack. Alec, from that company which I'd never purchased a single thing from...never even heard of, chimed in along the lines of "No problem...it can be done, we just did it for a customer. Gobi just started making these special brackets for 50" bars for their "open" style rack frames (mine)."
Me: "Oh....I didn't get my Gobi from you, but thanks! How much?"
Alec: "Don't worry about it....We have a great relationship with Gobi....what's your address?"
Me: ........? (Pleasantly suprised shock)
I'll take better pictures later, for the actual install, but here's one for reference. Gobi doesn't even have them on their site yet. If you want them PLEASE go through this guy Alec and EAD Offroad. I'm happy with all the help it seems the Jeep community as a whole offers up...this site is a perfect example, but this is a complete and total class act thing to do. I'll be shopping with this company for anything I need that they carry that is even reasonably close in $$ to anywhere else.
...aaaand the Z 12 Platinum winch just dropped.

You know those survey pictures from space, that show a country at night?
I think the next picture they do is going to have a very bright spot in your neighborhood!

I am looking forward to seeing how the curved light looks with the relatively flat roof line of the JK.

Hey Doddste, me too, but it's going into the open space on my Gobi, I won't be using A-pillar light bar mounts:

If the mounts I have work as advertised, the two edges should almost be flush (when viewed from the sides), and the middle will obviously bow outwards a small bit.

Fast glass, what's the hold up with the wheels?! lol looks like they're ready to be mounted. Can't wait to see it. So many parts coming in all the time. I guess Christmas never stops at your house lol.

Hey CDN,
Christmas is definitely over here. I've condensed what was supposed to be a 2-3 yr build into 2 months! The wife is less than thrilled :)
I've ordered a lot of stuff over the last few months, and because of Christmas, most of it is just showing up lately (lots more lighting this week ;) )
As for the wheels, they're 37's....just can't mount em till I get the lift done. Brian at BDR Automotive and his crew will be swapping in some ARB loaded Prorocks, full Synergy front end and some Metalcloak goodies, but it got pushed out to next week so they can finish a LR Discovery 2 restoration. I'm currently relegated to installing all the light bar bracketry, pre wiring up the weather packs etc and other minor odds and ends.
Trust me, the MINUTE I have good photos of the completed build to publish, I will be. I'm a picture whore (clearly)
Ha!
