I'm thinking it's a trans temp sensor that's triggering the P0700 code

With the trans temp visible on the dash, the displayed temp will bounce from 79 degrees to 122 degrees, occasionally .......and not remain constant

I never realized this transmission doesn't have a fluid level dip stick, makes for checking fluid levels impossible

I also need to look at the TPMS sensors

3 out of the 4 read normal PSI, one is reading 12 PSI lower and the actual PSI is spot on with thr other 3 tires

Bad sensor? Low battery?

I think my trucks TPMS sensors also need to be replaced

If I am getting new tires this fall I may as well replace all 4

Does anyone know the frequency of them? My search shows two variants for my 2016

What? I have a 2014 that has a transmission fluid level dipstick. It is on the passenger side in this generation. Even if you don't see a dipstick grab handle, it is usually there. Look for the same tube to run up the side of the engine but with a simple, unmarked, cylindrical stopper with no "gear" or "trans" markings on it.

They camouflage them sometimes, in an effort to keep the laymen away from it, but they still need a way to check it at the dealer

You have the 8 speed transmission (8L90) in your 2014?

8L90 has no dipstick

You likely have a 6 speed transmission

No 8-speed. I do have the 6 speed.

If you are beyond warranty, you may want to look into getting the dipstick and tube off a 2016 Camaro.
