I ordered the pump, a new serpentine belt and a new pump stretch belt......$151.28 for everything is better than a $550 and $728 quote
You probably need it, but the test I read was to pump the brakes and see if the vacuum goes away fairly quickly. Something like that. Pretty straight forward to replace.

Yeah. That's what I said before you went off talking about buying and installing parts. I know for a fact, as I had mine done. They shouldn't give you any guff about it at all, like I said. Unless it had already been done before, but it should be listed.

The infi on the recall is out there on FleetOwner, GM-Trucks, and the website you listed...

Looks like extended coverage to 10 years, 150k. I know GM covered a lot of them. Local dealer told me the parts were cheaper at the dealer because GM had to buy them back.
Go figure 🤔

So...were there enough issues that GM decided to extend the warranty fir that specific issue only?
