This is ridiculous. The war was a long time ago, and forgotten by current generations. Will only hurt sales.........
Thing is Mitusbishi has had no real sales for what, 19years now. Thats a long time out of the market. Only bold, risky moves or major innovations will get you going again. bring something over that the competition does NOT have. Everyone has a Mirage, everyone has an Outlander....In 2005 car makers(other then Mits) realized real 4x4s were no longer made and as manufacturers stepped up to do what no one, or few were doing they were enriched. Same goes for 4dr trucks. Exceptional high performance off-road vehicle are now a trend as well. New models and innovations and what it will take to get back in the market will take billions. Either spend those dollars, or give up.

I concur. If my old neighbor, who was a Pearl Harbor survivor, can be okay with buying a Japanese car, anyone can. Some can't forgive. It wasn't our fight so move on. Japan is an ally now who we actually have a defense treaty with. They get attacked, we're going to war FOR THEM.

And yes, I hope the new Pajero Sport and/or Pajero make it Stateside and aren't watered down. And I hope they sell very well. If I am in a position to I intend to buy one, and hopefully as a company project truck.

Good, maybe that will free up resources to bring in the cool cars instead of wasting them building 1 car in that plant.

Yeah, I saw that. Could make for something interesting if the Eclipse comes back. Makes me wonder though if this is part of an overall exit strategy.

Looking for that thing i just had in my hand...
No wonder they got away with doing such poor quality without getting fired, i guess the only way to get rid of the union is to close shop.
