Today I went over to a friend's house and he helped me install some led strings on my rear view window to add more light for cooking and in general while out camping. I think it came out great. We have them on a dimmer so I can adjust how much light there is. Also this weekend I installed the evo evap skid plate in prep for my July trip to Moab and CO. getting closer to being ready to roll. Also with having the j30 and it being all carpeted makes it really easy to mount the dimmer with Velcro.
Thanks Jeff I cannot take credit at all for this. Trailrecon and overlandx posted a how to on this a few weeks ago that made it all possible to do. Well done. A very creative idea!

I really like the look of this project and have been thinking about how to improve the lighting in the rear cargo area. But then I saw this online:

More expensive, but only a 5-minute install and has really good reviews. Seems like that is always the trade off . . .
I think I will try this iKonic Cargo Light product, since I have plenty of other DIY projects on the list already. Will post a review here if anyone's interested.
The paint code is PUA if that is what you are asking for.Anyone knows what is the RAL code for this amazing Gobi color?
