Have you had a chance to mount the backup lights? I may get them as well, if they do the job,my underhood Mopar light came in this week,so I will be ordering their light for that too. I am also thinking about getting their light bar,as my sPOD came in this week.Thanks.
Your gonna love the spod! No I haven’t yet, I got real busy and had a sick kid at home, my plan is next weekend, I’ll let you know.

Just got back from a three day weekend out in the hill country, mainly around San Marco's, Fredericksburg, and Enchanted Rock. Was a lot of fun, and the temperature was just right at between 55 and 70 degrees. Did some very lite camping, hiking, and off road travel. We hiked up Enchanted rock, Cross Mountain, and wheeled around North East of Fredericksburg. Have no idea the name of the town there, but it was desolate. The sister in law was getting married on Enchanted rock early Saturday, so we used the time there to make a little mini vacation. We needed the break for sure after all the hustle of Christmas and the new year. Was a nice outing for us all.

I mounted a set of these in the rear bumper a year ago. They work incredible and have held up perfectly. They still look and perform like new. Best part...$21 a pair on Prime.

Looks like an awesome place, Texas is on my bucket list, I’ll have to crack that area out.

Yea, there are a ton of different locations to go in Texas. That area in its entirety is tons of fun, lots of day trip to be had all within 50 miles or so. I just wish there was more BLM land in Texas at times.

Nice! You have any night pics showing the light provided? Think they would be good for a simple flood light for night around a vehicle under an awning? We have been thinking of trying some flush mount lights or rope LED for under the truck and trailer awning.

Also... On another note, I noticed the truck has been getting better mileage as the engine is wearing in. Got a solid 17.1 average highway driving there and back hand calculating. Was 15.7 in town and back and forth through the hill country for 3 days. Was around 380 miles one way. Not bad IMO for highway mileage in a 3500, heavily loaded down on 37's. Wish is was the 18.8 the Iie-O-meter was saying I was getting there and back. ?

I assume it will get a bit better as it loosens up over the next few years of driving.

I'll get some pics tomorrow night as long as the ground isn't wet. They are really high quality lights that get great reviews and would work perfectly to light up a camp site in the flood pattern I have.

Thanks! I would appreciate that. I am almost 100% sure I will be flush mounting them into the trailer topper just under the awning, but so far really haven't pulled the trigger. But for that price, especially if they are reliable, I may go ahead and pick up 4, two for each side depending on the light output shown from your pics.

What's your gearing with those 37's?

17mpg highway is pretty decent, all things considered. Lol, my 4runner doesn't get much better driving on the highway during the winter season.

Still on stock gearing with 3.42's. This truck is however a G56, so the equivalent would be an auto on 4:11's.

Yea, it isn't bad IMO. I do feel the topper helped in the aerodynamics department in all areas except the topper load rack. I know that is hurting me some. But it is a necessity if we want to carry our canoe.

********!!! I don't need anything too bright, but I also want to be able to see plainly when we are doing things around camp. I feel if I find something we like but it is too bright at times, I will use our sPod for dimming the light output. That way we can have a brighter light with a little reach for activities at night, as well as a soft light for basic usage.

Buddha.

Finally in expo white.
You don’t like how the under hood light is an option for your truck? Will the cabin air filter is an option for my truck how about that?

Sorry, auto correct lol.
You had to add the under hood light because the factory left it out. Reminds me of how on my truck they left out the cabin air filter in a similar fashion. Manufacturers cutting corners...
