Very nice. What is the heating system in the habitat and is it tied in with the engine for pre-heating? Will DM you.

In short: Yes, engine preheat, domestic hot water and habitat heat are all provided through a diesel boiler or by utilizing shore power.

In detail: There is a Eberspacher Hydronic M12 diesel heater connected directly to the truck fuel tank. There are two coolant loops, one on the truck engine side and one on the habitat side. These two Loops transfer heat through a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger, both loops have independent coolant pumps. When the engine is running, heat is transferred to the habitat coolant loop and by default heats the hot water calorifier. If the habitat thermostat calls for heat the system will use engine heat to heat the habitat when the engine is running. When the engine is not running, the thermostat will default to the Eberspacher. The Eberspacher can be activated manually for engine preheat and to produce domestic hot water in the calorifier. When shore power is available, there is also a 1200w block heater installed in the engine; the efficiency of the block heater is greatly increased when the truck coolant loop pump is activated, this circulates the coolant past the block heater and through the engine. Also when on shore power, if the thermostat calls for heat there is an electric heating pad on the habitat coolant loop. The hot water calorifier also has a 125v heating element that can be used when on shore power.
Heat for the habitat box is provided through two liquid-to-air heat exchangers as well as a radiator/towel warmer in the bathroom. Due to the high efficiency of the insulation, very little heat is needed to keep the habitat at a set temperature.

@varythings I keep eyeballing your handiwork. It really is highly detailed sir. Kudos!!
I wanted to ask you on the batteries, it looks like you only have 2 batteries but I thought these came spec'd with 4. Can you give info on how many and what kind are they?
Also; Do you keep your Genius 10x2 wired up when off grid or is it more of a plug in maintainer when docked?
