How did you come to this conclusion so quickly?

Agreed.

Id strongly suggest fully loading it and hitting some trails and washboard so you can give them real world feedback, need less rebound, more compression, bla bla bla

It’s really a guessing game without that feedback from the user

If you haven't looked into them yet, check out the Milwaukee pack out system. They have tons of different sizes and make organizing everything super easy.

They are also dust/water resistant/damn near bulletproof and super easy to move.

They come in a TON of different sizes. I prefer the slim ones, so i can stack and lock them into places for travel. Its a super slick system really

I have majority of my tools, electrical stuff, air line stuff, and misc spares in packout boxes in my tunnel box. Works perfectly.

Been using them for years and they've become a bit of an obsession thing for me. Hahaha

Heres a pic of how I used them in my Tundra:

Sweet, thx! I'll look into them. My tunnel box is pretty narrow so I'm hoping they have ones less wide.

My truck should be ready for local trips by the 4th of July. LMK if you two are looking for more rigs/people to join any shakedown trips...
I gave Dan at Carli my current front and rear axle weights for the leaf springs, and asked if my shocks needed a re-tune due to the weights. He said absolutely, as every kit they send out has their standard tune on it (I don't know what axle weights they're set for), but that it's best to optimize for add'l weight (this was my plan all along, I had thought about taking the truck down to Carli for them to custom tune the shocks and springs, but my proposed full rear axle weight falls right in line with their XXHD leafs, and they can re-tune my shocks for only $75/ea since they're still fresh and don't need a rebuild. So, looking back, if I wouldn't have pushed so hard to get the susp on before the photoshoot (now postponed), then I would have waited to have camper on, taken axle weights, then shipped the new-in-box King's back to Carli for an immediate re-tune and installed the shocks just once vs twice. Oh well.
Awesome on your truck! I'll definitely let you know about shakedown trips as I've already been talking to my good friend Mike about getting his resurrected Earthroamer XV-JP out for his own shakedown.

Agreed.

Looking forward to systems review of the camper. I’ve had a demo of the Wrappon toilet and it seemed pretty innovative. How does it work in the field? The rest of the camper is interesting as well keep it coming.

I'll let you know once I start using it all--currently have been a bit preoccupied with life stuff. The Wrappon seems pretty straightforward. The baggy chute is innovative and appreciated. But I need to make the change to the Lagun arm since (I don't understand why) Lagun doesn't make any accessories like an extending arm or dual hinging arm.

Got the 37x12.5x17s on however, running 50psi (been Forscan'd to keep the TPMS light off). Looking more proportional now. Still need to fit the spare (a well-used 37x12.5x17 ProComp MT; traded for some local beer). Really needs the Carli/Deaver leafs, and the shock re-tune, as currently the rig gently/smoothly wallows a bit more than I'd like over certain terrain. But it looks cool! :D

Looking good man! Congrats!

But... based on your (and mine) level of OCD, on a scale of 1 to i want to hit it with a hammer, how much does it drive you bonkers that one door is different color than the others?

(Don't lie)

Thx man, been a long time coming.

But wait, there's more....
The Truma door on the driver side is creamier white, as is the Tern Overland Wildlands door. So yeah, on both sides, these don't match the RAM PW7 white. But the Aterra doesn't match the Ford Oxford White either, so it's now a hodgepodge of white. It bugged me at first, but I've been working on becoming less perfectionistic, so I've let it roll at this point. I have been trying to keep the black tone consistent; most is Cardinal BK62 "Black Hammer" powdercoat. I plan to have the rear jerrycan holders powdercoated something similar(I can't go BK62 as the texture may not allow the Wavian cans to fit like they fit now), and then since the rear accessory rack is tied into the interior dinette table mount, I'll have Tommy's Tinting/Vinyl wrap the accessory rack face/surface in "Dead Matte" black vinyl as he did on the interior faux-grayish-wood trim. Also, if I end up keeping the factory Ford side steps (I may have TVO raise the step surface), I'll have them "bedlined" so there's no chrome.

But back to the camper, I was thinking--I wonder what ATO does to all the doors/hatches when someone orders a custom paint match, as I doubt these items take paint well(paint that will adhere for awhile, amidst tree branches). So for that reason, I'm glad I didn't get a Stone Gray truck and go with a paint-matched camper(although that Earth tone would have been my preference overall).

Same with mine.

The white of the total composites panels is a different white than the cargo door and entry door.

It honestly drives me effing bonkers

My informants have advised me this has been spotted at the PNW EXPO…

I've been talking :poop: about you to Andreas and Quade all weekend long so far (their booth is directly next door). :p
I will say; having their pagoda-roof prototype shell next door is tugging at my heart strings, as it's a burlier version of the Aterra shell. Too bad Andreas didn't come out with this years ago, it would have saved me a lot of time!

BTW, I'm surprised there's a lack of sweet RAM's at the Overland Expo PNW. LOTS and LOTS of Ford F-Series Super Duty's, especially F550's.
Word is that this event might become the flagship OvEx, as thank goodness it's not dusty/dirty or exceptionally hot.

I got to see it at Expo today. Jeremy did a fantastic job building it out. It looks great!

Expo was way better and bigger than I expected. There was an overwhelming amount of stuff to see.

Thank you Keith! (and it's not even finished yet)
I was excited to talk to the crew from Highway Products; once the Deaver leafs are on, and then the HPI underbed boxes are on, they want a bunch of pictures to add to their new marketing material. Quite an honor if that can happen!

Yes it is; massive event for the PNW. Where the truck is located (Oregon Adventure Truck booth), there's so many vendors in that section, it makes my head hurt walking the aisles. Overland widgets coming out of everywhere. Kevin, you'd be in heaven. :ROFLMAO:
