Has it been confirmed that non-air mules were in Moab?

I speculated that was the case in my video, but when photos and vids started popping up, all I've seen has been air suspension.

There will also be oil coolers in front of the tires. The intercooler are just most heat exchangers due to the turbo.

Not to my knowledge, I havent seen suspension shots of the RRS LWB or SWB mules yet at moab

When the first RRS defender mules started being seen on the road ages ago,a coil version was snapped and it was put in I think Land Rover owners magazine or something similar.

You are telling me that there is a D5 on coil springs as cheap option?

Do you have a picture?
Thats a no cost option when you order, S model as per pic.

You have to go to Australia to get a coiler. And it comes with a single speed transfer case. In other words....buy a Subaru.

Click the build link below and then select "engine and drivetrain".

The base model is standard in cheapest form, single speed I'm guessing for commercial applications, which highway and police force in European countries have recently purchased in large numbers

However as you can see in the picture I included above you can option the dual range transfer case.

Can't comment on which countries the S version is available, but defs AU as you say.

However I know in Australia that most of the touring / Overland guys prefer the air suspension on the Discos for many reasons anyway.

I imagine it will be the same for the defender.

Yes, the cross-linked air on IFS/IRS performs very well. If I was building a new defender for overland work, I'd opt for the air as well, despite the reliability concerns. It's nice to see that photo on coils though, thanks. I missed that one.
So did I, went back through on pc, so much better quality.

For those who want a 'real' Defender

"The Polish firm is able to build new Defenders from scratch, as it has the tooling to build each component to the original specification. Some parts are even improved; the frame, for example, is stronger and thicker than the original, say Land Serwis"

Impressive but this claim by reporter is unbelievable, im sure there are many parts they buy off the shelf from JLR.

Its also yet another option for those that feel the current defenders and older Series landrovers going back to the 40's are going to be sucked into a black hole when the new one arrives.

All defenders will live on and continue to be rebuilt, over and over again.

Has the marketing team ever considered that some farmers in Scottish highlands or in Austrian outback may need an actual farm truck? I mean the folks who are the brand loyalists and want a new truck?
Or they just thought it’s mach better to design a new truck for the Kardashians or David Beckham?

So in the last decade of Defender sales in the UK, they only sold a few hundred per year, and it was far from a "farm truck" as it was in its earliest days. The US out-bought the UK in the last year it was offered here.

That can't keep the ship afloat. They need to sell hundreds of thousands of them over a product generation.

Hell, you won't even be able to find a stripper Jeep Gladiator on the lot - most will go for near $50K, and a Gladiator Rubicon tops out over $60K with tax and title - this is the market Land Rover has always appealed to. So yes, they will be popular with rappers and the Rodeo set, because they have to be.

But they'll also go anywhere a Jeep can go, right off the lot.
